Tokyo, Japan 8D7N Day Five: Tsukiji Fish Market, Sensoji Temple, Asakusa, Tokyo Sky Tree, Akihabara - Pablo Mini

Continuing with the non edited photos ! Finally progressing to more than half of the trip. En route to the Fish market for some fresh sashimi and sushi. Realised that the train actually has women only cabins but during certain timings which is more of peak hour I guess.

There is major crowd at the train station and directions all over to the fish market so you surely would not get lost. Took this flyer from some guy giving them out to promote his restaurant but serves as a really good map for the fish market area as well.

Wasn't aiming for the auctions and all so we didn't go over like super early and after my mom learnt her lesson from yesterday's dinner, she insisted we just settle on any restaurant we see instead of constantly like looking around for a popular place to eat at.

The restaurant we settled at had a queue so we had to wait a little. But we had chairs to wait so it was still alright! Beside the restaurant is this shop which was pretty crowded but their speciality was some of those king crab legs which was grilled if I am not wrong!

My dad got us some oysters instead because we major love raw oysters. It was pretty pricey as compared to Korea but it was so fat and juicy and super sweet it is so darn good.

Finally our turn in and of course, I had to get myself some tuna because that is the speciality here. The sashimi is actually warm here which is so different from the cold ones in Singapore. Not used to it but the tuna was really not bad!

All they served was sushi so not really a great place for my grandparents who dont eat any raw food.

After us was some really big tour group so it got really crowded and thats the name of the restaurant above and the menu below.

Coolest thing was how they calculated the bill ! They had this scanner device thing where they just scan and it reads all the plates in a stack and calculates the bill since the price is based on the plate colour.

Saw this strawberry mochi thing on Instagram alot and immediately got it when I saw it. Got the strawberry yoghurt flavour one. Pretty good but a lot of flour was involved which made my face kind of white and powdery after that.

Went over to Asakusa for the temple and to walk around more traditional Japan streets. Super crowded and full of tourists really

Lots of toys and snack shops along the street. Went to this store in hopes to get the rice cracker I saw them making but in the end because i didn't check clearly we got some red bean cakes instead.

And thing is, i am not a fan of red bean. But my grandma really loved it and kept on talking about it so I guess it is actually pretty gooood.

Finally got my hands on the cremia ice cream. It has the cone that tastes like the Hokkaido Shiroi Koibito biscuit and super good milk ice cream (sort of like Disneyland's). One thing is you cant walk and eat at the same time so everyone was just squeezed around the area beside the shop. Would have wanted to take a nicer shot of the ice cream.

At the same time, my dad found the mochi I wanted !!! Was looking for like those warabi type of mochi which is like plain and coated with my fav soy bean flour (like the injeolmi bingsu kind of flour) this store (below) sold it in like sticks and it is so damn good but it hardens after like a while so do eat it asap! I ate mine like when I went back to the airbnb and it hardened like a rock so yea :-(

Went over to the skytree area but in the end, none of us wanted to go up because we all felt it was just a waste of money to pay so much just to look at the view. 100% not a scenery type of person.

Too bad I was really full because I was anticipating to go have some cafe food at the Moomin Cafe :-( dammit. I wanted to dine with moomin.

The fam had some tako yaki here which they said was good !!!

Powerpuff girls stuff in the mall !!! Wanted to get myself the bubbles plushie.

Disney store next to Uniqlo and they sold zootopia plushes! You can find quite exclusive merch here that isnt available in Disneyland !! Like the tsum tsum versions of the characters.

Went over to Akihabara because the bro wanted to get Kendamas (roll eyes). But thank god he went because...

We came across the Pablo store !!

This outlet sells only the mini version of the cheese tarts !! And there is four different flavours available - Strawberry, Chocolate, Green Tea and the normal ones. The queue was actually quite long where I had to wait maybe 10 mins.

Price can be seen in photos before and the one below.

Got one chocolate flavoured for my dad and six of the normal ones where we finished on the spot because it was so good !!!

Best cheese tart in the world really. The mini one is surely better than the big one so do get the mini ones. Baked cheese tart cant even compare to Pablo. Can Pablo please come to SG instead. I would gladly go queue.

The queue when we were leaving ! Bro went to queue for another 2 boxes because its so damn good!

Went over to Muji with my mom and got some snacks and all. Price isn't really that far off from Singapore actually.
