Tokyo, Japan 8D7N Day Three: Disney Sea, Gyu Katsu Motomura

Day three of Japan lets goooo !

Headed back to the same route as Disneyland the day before as we are going to DisneySea. It was actually a rainy day and was drizzling as we left our airbnb;; umbrellas were such a burden

Decided to take the Disney line over to Disney Sea as it was much further away than Disneyland !

The train had a photo area which was decked in the Easter theme (Ft random kid idk).

Grabbed these maps from the visitor centre located just outside the train station (or was it inside) and made our plans for how we were going to tackle DisneySea as we were really tired and sore from walking up and down Disneyland the previous day.

Disney Sea had a totally different ambience as compared to Disneyland ;; it is like the difference between the California one. Disney Sea felt further away from the Disney and Kiddy concept but more bad ass and with more thrill rides.

They also have the information board just when you enter, where you can find out all the waiting times for the rides. From there we could decide which ride would be the best to get our fast passes.

Went to get the tower of terror fast passes. It is a ride I have never taken before as I gave it a pass in US. Jie says this ride is really thrilling from her experience in Paris so I'm really excited for it ! Our fast passes were quite a while later which shows how this ride is really popular.

The gramps accompanied us as chaparone and he got himself a caramel popcorn as he was kind of expecting he wont have much food options ;; feel kind of bad not bringing him over to the chinese restaurant to have his meal and had focused on heading to rides instead ;;_;; There is a chinese restaurant around the Little Mermaid area.

That spinning boat ride was the little bro's fav ride at that moment ! They took it like a few times while waiting for us as we went to the tower of terror.

Went for Indiana Jones and really proud of the Little bros for taking it and having the courage !! This turned out to be their most favourite ride out of both parks ! Even the youngest who was extremely scared since the begining and was holding on to me real tight.

Time for our tower of terror came and even with the fast passes the queue was really long ;; abit sian but the ride was so good !!! Try to raise your feet when you are up high and it really was thrill seeking ! Especially the part where you get to see the view of Disney Sea.

Got our lunch here and the nuggets were in Mickey shaped. Aesthetically good but for the price worth, no. Got a cheeseburger and it was average I guess.

Another favourite for the lil bros, This was actually pretty dizzy and fun !

Some detailed toilet design here ! The toilet doors were designed to look dirty and with grime like in the sea which is a little gross but their attention to details is just 100/100

Got fast passes for the Journey to the Centre of the Earth as well. Little brothers didn't come along as this was slightly too thrilling for them. Felt it was meh. There was only that one climb and drop so I felt it wasnt that thrilling at all. I think ocean park has ruined it for me regarding the ride's thrill seeking factor.

Disney Ice cream, I would like to reiterate is the bombz. It is so good I actually ate two of it here. Just because I know I wont be able to have it again after I leave :>

Went for our final Indiana Jones and the little bro actually dared to raise their hands for the photo op ! So proud hehehe.

Only headed for Toy story at the end as we totally couldnt find it ! Would have actually totally missed out this section if not for me remembering seeing other people taking photo at Woody's mouth and wanting to find out where it was !

The queue was still super long when we were there. So we didnt join in and the ride was most probably some pathetic kiddy ride so we gave it a pass.

Headed back to Tokyo station with the cousins after parting with the bros and gramp as we wanted to get some Gyu Katsu !!!! In the mean time while at Tokyo station, we came across this super good cheese cookie at the Keio Plaza. You can only get this if you have the ticket into the station. The samples they gave were really generous where it is almost half a cookie. Bought the smallest size and my mom ate almost half the box :-) it is pretty pricey imo but everything in Japan is so I leave it to my parents to buy this instead. Just bought a box for them to try.

GyuKatsu Motomura
1-6-14 YaesuChuo 103-0028Tokyo Prefecture
Opening hours: 11am - 9pm/10pm

Realised the gyu katsu place was fairly near our airbnb ;; and that street was actually pretty crowded ! The Gyu Katsu place is in an alley from the main street and extremely small place. We were like maybe the 10th in queue when we reached and made friends with some korean guy who came alone and was queuein in front of us.

Placed our orders before heading in and I got the 100g one. Regret getting such a small portion for such delicious beef.

Gyu Katsu is basically raw beef cutlet which is so damn good you have to try it.

Instructions on the different sauces ! Every seat comes with a hot plate where you can actually cook your gyu katsu further. As some people might find it too raw. I feel that it tastes good either way and you can cook it to whichever level you like.

The meat totally melts in your mouth and you just keep going back for more ;;; my mouth is salivating right now thinkin of it.
